Smoothie Bowl

You can create this little bowl of magic with a few simple steps.

THE FRESH STUFF

1/4 dragon fruit/pitaya (red or white)

1/2 punnet of strawberries

1/3 punnet of blueberries

1/3 punnet of raspberries

1/2 mango

Handful of white grapes

2 passionfruit

3 tsp black chia seeds

1 (small) banana

THE EXTRAS

2 tsp Just Blends Pink Pitaya Powder

1 cup Cocobella Plain Coconut Yoghurt

OPTIONAL

1 tsp PONO Coconut Probiotic Powder

or

1/2 scoop Happy Way Vanilla Protein Powder

USEFUL

Stick blender

Small knife

Chopping board

Spoon

NOW WHAT?

Combine banana, coconut yoghurt and Pink Pitaya Powder (add Probiotic Power or Protein Powder at this point) into a breaker or tall jug. Using a stick blender, mix these ingredients until smooth. Note: This will also work in a Nutribullet type device.

Note: For a two-tone effect, use only half of the ingredients for this step with one colour then repeat this step with different coloured superfood powder with the remaining.

Scoop this into your bowl.

Using a round, deep spoon, scoop the dragon fruit into balls. Slice the mango down one side to take off the end, then slice near the centre to take it off the pip. you should have a nice slice to cut out hearts by freehand. I got 3 out of one slice. Hull the strawberries then cut into quarters.

Sprinkle all the fruit and chia seeds over the prepared yoghurt mix. Cut the passionfruit in half and scoop directly onto the yoghurt/fruit.
